I liked this book. I found that it was very much what you made of it. It was light enough that it the pages turned quickly for me but when I would stop I would think…”who would my 5 be” or “who’s 5 would I be among and why”. I really think this book gave a good imaginative view of the feeling there has to be some great meaning to life.
If did find it sad though that more than not the people he met.. he had a reason in their death.
The repetitiveness of overlap and “everyone is connected” did get a bit old for me… but I still didn’t see who his #5 was until the pages told me. I’m a dork.. I know.

it’s interesting to think about who anyone’s five people would be. i thought it was best read with a willing suspension of disbelief. i also thought the characters were a bit simple but that was part of the charm of the book in some way. I think that if you don’t look at the book very critically, it’s pretty god.
